Dotterel, Bury Down, Berks 25 April (left) and 26 April (right) 2008 Distant record shots only with the DSLR - would have probably been much better with digiscoping! See my pics from the same site 4 years ago. The delightful trip of 4 birds was only present early morning on 26th - last seen around 07:15 am. So it pays to rise early sometimes! |

Ruddy Duck, Radipole, Dorset 20 April 2008 No luck with the masses of warblers on the reserve, but these were very close in. Shame about the reeds in the way. |

Willow Warbler, Portland Bill, Dorset 20 April 2008 Much better conditions today, with even some sun. There was a scattering of migrants at the Bill, including Redstart and Whitethroat |
