Purple-crested Turaco

These birds are suitably exotic looking but spend most of their time hidden from view but noisily broadcasting their presence with raucous calls. This photo was taken on an early morning walk when they are at their most active, and I was able to induce one out into the open briefly. This may not be the sharpest pic I've ever taken, due to a combination of poor light and distance but it was satisfying to be able to capture this elusive species reasonably posed.  A fair amount of 'Photo Shopping' etc has also gone into this one!
